Landed at Santiago Airport (STI): your hotel transfer checklist

The short answer: arrange the pickup before you fly

Book with your flight number, arrival date and the full name of your hotel or villa. Save the confirmation and dispatch contact on your phone. After immigration, baggage collection and customs, follow the meeting instructions in your confirmation and look for your name sign in the arrivals meeting area. Confirm your destination with the driver before loading your luggage.

STI is Cibao International Airport in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. Check the airport code on your ticket: a booking for STI does not cover an arrival at Puerto Plata (POP), Santo Domingo (SDQ) or Punta Cana (PUJ).

Before departure: send the details that prevent pickup mistakes

Use the operating airline's flight number and the local arrival date shown on your itinerary. Add the passenger count, suitcase count and any stroller, child seat or oversized equipment. Do not assume that a vehicle's seat count also guarantees space for every bag. Request the child seat in advance and provide the child's age.

Enter the complete hotel name in our booking form and select the matching suggestion. Hotel recognition selects the transfer zone and displays the relevant quote. Similar names and hotels belonging to the same chain can be in different places. If your accommodation is not listed, send its map pin or full address for confirmation rather than choosing a nearby zone by guesswork.

After landing: collect your bags, then meet the driver

Landing time is not the time you reach the arrivals exit. Immigration, baggage delivery and customs vary, so avoid promising a fixed number of minutes. Keep your confirmation accessible offline. Your driver meets you after the passenger formalities; a pickup booking does not provide access to immigration or baggage claim.

Use your confirmed name sign and booking details to identify the pickup. If you cannot find the driver, contact dispatch with your booking name and where you are standing. Stay at an agreed, identifiable location until you receive instructions. Do not leave with someone simply because they say they are your driver.

A delayed flight or no internet: keep one contact thread

We track the flight information supplied with the booking. If the airline changes your flight number, arrival airport or travel date, tell dispatch; a cancellation or rebooking needs an updated transfer plan. Flight tracking cannot identify an itinerary change that has not been shared.

Save the contact number, confirmation and hotel address before travelling. Airport connectivity can vary. If you cannot get online, use the saved telephone contact when a call is possible. Agree on the meeting instructions before departure so that your pickup does not depend entirely on a live message after landing.

Know what the displayed price includes

The table below shows our published VIP one-way prices in USD per vehicle for one to six passengers. These are our transfer rates, not an official airport taxi tariff or a promise about another provider's price. Your selected zone, passenger count, vehicle class and any agreed extras determine the confirmed booking total.

Check the quote before confirming, especially for a villa with a remote entrance or a similarly named hotel. For larger groups or unusual luggage, request the appropriate vehicle. Keep the confirmed amount and payment arrangement in the same conversation as the pickup details.

Before you arrive at the hotel: plan the return journey

For a round trip, provide the return flight date and flight number as well as the arrival details. Confirm the hotel pickup time separately: flight departure time and hotel pickup time are different. The correct buffer depends on the route, traffic and your airline's check-in requirements.

Keep the hotel entrance or villa gate instructions with the return booking. If your accommodation, flight or passenger count changes during the stay, update dispatch before departure day. The goal is a confirmed pickup, not a last-minute search for transport while the flight clock is running.
