From STI the route climbs steadily out of the Cibao valley on the mountain road to Jarabacoa, gaining altitude the whole way; allow 60 to 80 minutes and expect the temperature to drop noticeably by arrival. The hotel's single entrance opens onto its riverside parking area, where the driver stops with your bags.
