We recommend a lobby pickup 3 hours before your flight from Playa Dorada. The complex has a single gated entrance shared by all its resorts and the golf course, so checkout traffic there can add a few minutes before you even reach the main road toward the Gregorio Luperón highway. STI's small terminal is fast to clear, so the 3-hour buffer mostly covers the drive over the mountain pass and the resort gate rather than a long airport queue. Add 20–30 minutes for a group of six or more, or on a Saturday when several resorts check out at once.
