STI to Constanza and Valle Nuevo: plan the hotel transfer and park visit separately
Separate your STI–Constanza hotel transfer from a Valle Nuevo visit. Confirm the exact destination, suitable vehicle, park access and return arrangements.

Constanza accommodation is not a park destination
An STI transfer to accommodation in Constanza and a journey into Valle Nuevo National Park are different itineraries. Confirm the hotel address first, then identify the actual park destination, such as Las Pirámides or accommodation within the park. Writing only ‘Constanza’ does not define that second journey.
Ask for the pickup, final drop-off and included stops in writing. A published Constanza airport fare does not automatically cover a park visit, a remote lodge or additional waiting. Request availability and a quote for the actual route; do not add airport-zone prices together.
Plan the airport arrival before the park visit
Build the arrival plan from flight landing, airport formalities, meeting the driver and the journey to the confirmed accommodation. A town driving estimate is not the time from landing to a destination inside Valle Nuevo. Ask which approach is suitable for the address and date instead of assuming a route through Jarabacoa.
If the visit needs a separate vehicle or an early start, discuss reaching the accommodation first and visiting on another day. Confirm check-in and any luggage storage with the property. For accommodation inside the park, obtain its current arrival instructions before confirming the airport journey.
Choose capability, not just a vehicle category
VIP and SUV describe categories, not proof of four-wheel drive or suitability for every mountain road. Give dispatch the exact approach and ask what vehicle can be provided for it. Confirm current requirements with the accommodation or park contact; do not infer them from a map label or an older trip report.
Declare passengers, every suitcase, child seats and mobility equipment. Seats and luggage space are separate limits, and access may involve walking beyond the vehicle. Confirm the road vehicle and any assistance at the destination separately. A larger van is not automatically a substitute for a suitable mountain vehicle.
Recheck access for your actual destination
Valle Nuevo is a highland national park in the Constanza region. A booking at a nearby hotel does not establish that your chosen park approach is open. Check current restrictions, permitted vehicle access, visiting arrangements and the exact destination with the responsible park contact or accommodation close to travel.
Recheck after significant weather or a change of itinerary. An older reopening notice is not a present-day road report. If access is restricted or suitability is uncertain, agree a revised destination or another day before setting off. Neither a transfer confirmation nor a capable vehicle overrides an access restriction.
Agree the outing, waiting and luggage arrangements
Decide whether you are requesting an agreed waiting vehicle or a separately confirmed later pickup. Specify the meeting point, time window, contact procedure, waiting conditions and complete price. Ask whether the requested Valle Nuevo journey can be provided; the general day-trip service does not confirm this particular route.
Confirm admission, guides and activities separately; a vehicle booking does not include them unless expressly agreed. Ask the accommodation who can keep your suitcases and when they can be collected. Do not assume vehicle storage, unlimited waiting or that airport flight-delay terms apply to a park outing.
Plan the return before the STI flight
For the return, distinguish leaving the park, collecting bags, reaching the accommodation or transfer meeting point, driving to STI and meeting the airline’s deadlines. A hotel departure buffer does not cover the whole journey from a park location. Consider an overnight stay if a same-day flight depends on every stage going perfectly.
Save the flight details, exact addresses, agreed vehicle, contact numbers, pickup window and change terms offline. Update accommodation, any park or activity organiser and dispatch separately if the plan changes. Obtain the revised route and total in writing; no park access, specialist vehicle availability or flight connection is guaranteed here.
